Lasse Moilanen, M.Sc. in Process Engineering, has been appointed as the CEO of Mining Finland, starting on 1st July 2022, as the former CEO, Miia Mikkonen, joins the corporate world from the position.
Lasse joins Mining Finland from BioSO4 Ltd, a start-up distributor company of mining reagents, where he is the CEO and shareholder responsible for business development and marketing. Before BioSO4, he gained valuable international experience by carrying out global chemical sales positions in Brenntag Nordic Oy and Chemec Oy. Lasse has 18 years’ experience in international chemical sales, logistics and building distributor networks.
Lasse´s wide-ranging background in the mining industry and experience in a small high-technology company aiming at the international mining market supports Lasse in his work with Mining Finland.
The chairman of the Mining Finland board, Riku Helander, comments: ”Lasse has diverse experience of the mining industry, which provides a strong foundation to develop Mining Finland further.
