His expertise spans mineral economics, critical raw materials, and the development of sustainable value chains, supporting the global growth of Finnish mining solutions.

Events and Communications Coordinator
Vilma-Sofia Kumpulainen is responsible for communications and event coordination at Mining Finland. She brings experience from startups, the municipal sector, and international companies, combining strategic communications with hands-on event management.
With an international background and cross-cultural perspective, she supports the organization’s visibility, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of high-quality industry events.
